What’s Up Wednesday (#3)

WHERE HAVE WE BEEN!?

Doing this little annoying thing called “life”. I’ll admit, it’s been a minute. Life’s bogged us down, and finding live shows got to be really hard, so the front door started getting dusty here at VHS.

BUT

Now we’re back with a new direction, some new inspiration, and new opportunities, and needless to say: we’re pumped.

First big news is about new music (ohemgee did he say new music, like, woah, ohmagah). We were contacted earlier this week by the guys behind the upcoming short horror film “Beyond Memory” to produce a track to be included on an accompanying “Song Inspired by the Motion Picture” album.

I immediately began channeling the powers of Wendy Carlos and John Carpenter.

That’s super exciting in it’s own right. Also, coming soon, we’ve had some very creative individuals remix a track or two of ours, which we’ll post on SoundCloud, along side a remix or two of our own? Yeah, watch for that one.

Lots of vocal collaboration coming up as we move into our next full release, and hopefully a revamp into a more gig-friendly/venue-busting format with our live shows. 

As always, we hope to stay “In your hearts, in your homes”.

What’s Up Wednesday (#2)

Suddenly, everything’s slowed down. Andrew was gone all last week, and I ended up doing very little. We have started using YouTube (finally) and you can see our first video below or here (admittedly, it’s a bit boring, but it’s about the music, so…).

I’ve also been working on getting in the remixes for our remix single that I’d like to put out in about a month or so. Really it comes down to whenever the rest of the tracks come in. I’ll say this much for now though: what I have got is amazing. You’ll love it.

Also, we’ve had the opportunity to remix a track for a good friend of mine, and that will be done this week.

Keep a weather eye open, tell your friends about us and our music, and other than that, there’s not much to report! Guess I’m just struck with the summertime blues. How do you guys get through the “dog days”?
